Our Team
We bring different perspectives to the table, but we’re united by a love for purposeful work, thoughtful design, and real connection. At our core, we believe that healing happens in relationship—through spaces where you don’t have to edit yourself, translate your culture, or carry your burdens alone. Whether you are navigating systemic stress, relationship distress, or the echoes of developmental trauma, our team offers culturally responsive, evidence-based care tailored to your unique story.
Haoyan Lin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Colorado, Florida and Massachusetts and the clinical supervisor dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed mental health care and supervision.
Haoyan holds dual master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in Professional Counseling and Mental Health Services. She has over five years of clinical experience across hospital-based, outpatient, and private practice settings, including work with Beth Israel Lahey Health.
Her clinical work focuses on supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, family conflict, interpersonal difficulties, childhood and developmental trauma, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, and behavioral concerns. She believes that each person's experiences, relationships, cultural background, and developmental history shape the way they understand themselves and the world around them.
She is particularly interested in helping clients understand the connections between past experiences, present emotional responses, relationships, and patterns of behavior. Her goal is to create a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients can develop greater emotional regulation, self-understanding, resilience, and meaningful change.
Born and raised in Mainland China, Haoyan respects the uniqueness of individuals from different cultural backgrounds and genuinely cares for every client. Every individual, regardless of age, was once a child. Through numerous interactions with people and our environment, we establish internal belief systems embedded within our unique familial and social contexts; thus, there is no “one size fits all” approach to treatment. Haoyan strives to provide a secure therapeutic relationship as a vehicle for healing and growth, as relational wounds best heal through relationships. She meets clients’ needs based on their developmental age, applying evidence-based therapeutic modalities, cutting-edge neuroscience, and age-appropriate trauma-informed care to enhance psychosomatic connections.

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who earned dual master's degrees in Professional Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. I am fully bilingual and offer clinical services in both English and Mandarin Chinese. I work with individuals navigating major life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship challenges, as well as multicultural and workplace-related concerns.
My clinical foundation was built in in-home services, where I completed my practicum and then continued as an in-home therapist after graduation, providing intensive clinical services to children and families within their natural environments. This work gave me a deep understanding of family systems and how early relational patterns continue to shape the way we think, feel, and connect as adults. I bring this systemic lens to my individual work, helping clients make sense of long-standing patterns and move toward change. Grounded in a culturally responsive approach, and drawing on my own bicultural and bilingual background, I am well equipped to work with clients from diverse cultural frameworks, including those navigating acculturation, family expectations, and the challenges of living between cultures. I have also completed training in complex trauma, TF-CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the Nurtured Heart Approach, which strengthen my trauma-informed and strengths-based way of working.
I am especially passionate about supporting people through life transitions, such as a move, a career change, a new stage of life, or the end of a relationship, and helping them manage the anxiety, low mood, and stress that often come with change. Many clients also come to me with relationship concerns. In individual sessions, I help them understand their own patterns, express their needs more clearly, and build healthier connections with partners, family, and colleagues. Drawing on ACT, CBT, and an integrative, client-centered approach, I attend to both internal psychological dynamics and external systemic factors. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your daily life.
